Call for Nominations
Nominations for 2024 will open in August and close October 31, 2024.
Who is eligible?
Any Pop Warner association whose work relates to positive community impact, is eligible for nomination. If you know of an outstanding association that meets this criteria and has demonstrated dedication, creative solutions and/or a collaborative spirit working towards positive community impact, consider nominating that association for the Community Star Award.
Example of initiatives
- Hold a charitable fundraiser or drive
- Organize a service day
- Offer mentorship / tutoring services or visit local school
- Serve meals for the homeless
- Host a cleanup day
- Donate supplies
- Visit nursing home (act/ read/ sing/ interact)
- Raise awareness for a charity or cause (nutrition, alcohol awareness, physical fitness, mental health, Alzheimer’s disease, etc.)
To submit your nomination, please follow these easy steps:
Submit the nomination form and include the nominee's specific association. It is important to be specific and include as many details as possible. Please provide any information which supports the merits of the nominee as a recipient of the Community Star Award.
Awards Celebration/ Notification
Nominees will be announced in November with a national winner announced in December.
