How to Scan Documents

If you need to scan a physical document as a PDF in order to upload it into Pop Warner's roster software, you can use your smartphone or tablet if you do not have access to a scanner. There are several apps that provide this capability. Below are examples for Android and Apple devices.

Android Devices

Using the Google Drive app and your device’s camera, you can scan your documents.

Instructions from Google:

  • Install and open the Drive app.

  • Tap New and then Scan.

  • When you're done scanning, tap OK.

  • (If needed) To scan multiple pages, tap Bulk add and then OK.

  • Tap Save.

  • Enter a name for the file, choose a Drive account to save the file to and a Drive folder, and tap Save.
When you complete your scan, you will be able to find your document in Drive as a PDF.
