It seems like such a short time ago that we were gearing up for this season and now here we are getting prepared for Regional Championships!  

The hard work that all of the athletes, coaches and parents have put in this season has been evident in all of the amazing routines we have been seeing across the country and everyone should be proud of the work you’ve done to get here.

I wanted to take a moment to remind coaches who are moving on to Regionals to use the feedback you have been given to improve your routines and to remember those deep breath moments that we talk about when things get stressful and you question every 8 count that you’ve created.   You and your teams are all doing an incredible job and I cannot tell you how amazing you all are for the time, effort and energy you put in day after day for your athletes.  Beyond the trophies, medals and banners, you are creating memories for these children that will last a lifetime.  While we are in the thick of competition, you are also teaching these children some important life lessons about teamwork, camaraderie, sportsmanship and respect.  It may not feel like it some (or most!) days, but I promise you, you are making a huge impact in all of their lives and they will remember you and their time in Pop Warner for years to come.  

Time will move swiftly now and you will be ready to continue on the road to the National Championship which will be a phenomenal experience for those who make it to that plateau.  

Don’t forget to use all of the tools that YCADA has created for you to help you succeed in these last few weeks.  We are here to help every step of the way!  Keep submitting your rules and scoring questions to us so you have the proper guidance and get ready for our National Championship Routine Review, which will open on November 1st.  Take a peek at the FAQs that are updated in the Coach Resource Center to help you find answers/clarifications for all levels and don’t be afraid to ask for help when needed.  You can email [email protected] anytime for guidance.   

We cannot wait to see all of you over the coming weeks and for those who want to continue their season beyond National Championship, YCADA Globals is a fantastic event that we have created just for youth teams.  Globals will take place February 24-26, 2023 in Atlantic City, NJ and we have another incredible experience planned for all!  While every team is welcome to attend YCADA Globals, those who receive bids during your League, Regional and National Championships can utilize those discounts to make the trip!  Look for more information soon on additional opportunities to make attending Globals a reality.
