POP WARNER PARTNERS WITH GO4 TO CONNECT PROGRAMS WITH CERTIFIED ATHLETIC TRAINERS

Langhorne, PA - As the leader in player safety at the youth level, Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc., the nation’s preeminent youth football and cheer organization, is partnering with Go4, an online platform that connects certified athletic trainers with sports event operators.

The Go4 platform allows league and association administrators to immediately access thousands of qualified on-site athletic trainers for games and practices. Certified athletic trainers arrive ready to provide necessary medical services for participants. The platform can also automatically prepare an emergency action plan with the nearest medical facility listed. In the event of an injury, athletic trainers will complete a HIPAA-compliant report which can be sent directly to the athlete’s guardian or the next clinician to improve patient outcome and experience.

“The safety of our participants is our top priority, and we are always looking to work with organizations that share our mission, values and commitment to our athletes,” said Jon Butler, executive director of Pop Warner Little Scholars. “Go4 will elevate our commitment to player safety by expanding access to athletic trainers who can deliver important, qualified medical care to participants across Pop Warner.”

Pop Warner has led the way when it comes to instituting player safety measures for young athletes, and partnering with Go4 is another step towards making youth sports safer than ever before. All athletic trainers on the Go4 platform are state licensed, nationally certified and carry their own professional liability insurance. As users, they also have access to the in-app HIPAA compliant Emergency Medical Record documentation system.

“Athletic trainers are highly skilled, front-line healthcare providers. We’re thrilled to team up with Pop Warner to assist in their effort to make the sport a safer space for all participants involved,” said Ellis Mair, Ed.M, ATC, VP of Medicine/Community of Go4. “Athletic trainers are uniquely qualified to assist the members of the Pop Warner community and share in its mission of player safety in a structured competitive environment.”

There is no cost to create an account or extensive paperwork involved, making the connection and hiring process as seamless as possible so work can start within hours after the initial connection. To learn how Go4 can help your organization, click here.
