Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals tight end, is the 2025 Pop Warner Humanitarian Award recipient, recognized for his athletic excellence and community impact. A native of Fort Morgan, Colorado, McBride excelled as a multi-sport high school athlete before becoming a unanimous All-American and winning the 2021 John Mackey Award at Colorado State. Drafted in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, he quickly became a key offensive player, recording 111 receptions for 1,146 yards in the 2024-25 season and earning a Pro Bowl nod. Off the field, McBride is deeply committed to community impact. He regularly hosts youth football camps in his hometown and has been a vocal supporter of girls’ flag football in Arizona. His advocacy extends to mental health awareness, literacy, and STEM education, and he is known for inspiring the next generation through mentorship, honoring military families, and championing inclusivity.
“It’s an honor to receive the Pop Warner Humanitarian Award. Football has given me a platform, but it’s what we do off the field that truly defines our legacy," said McBride. "I’m committed to using every opportunity to uplift the younger generation, break down barriers, and build stronger communities. If my journey can inspire even one kid to believe in their potential, then I’ve done something right.”
