Philly Embraces Its Champ!
Well, the city of Philadelphia has been waiting for its Super Bowl trophy, and on Friday, December 10, 2004, it was delivered to them...although it wasn't the Eagles to do so as some may have expected. In just their first year of postseason competition, the North Philadelphia Aztecs defeated the Huntington Beach Chargers (CA) 32-13 to capture the Division II Jr. Pee Wee Tomlin Championship at the Pop Warner Super Bowl.
On Top Again!
The White Oak Warriors (MD) defeated the Dale City Cowboys (VA) 20-16 for the Division I Midget National Championship.
