Banquet
What
a great weekend in Anaheim, California for
the 2007 Pop Warner all-American Scholar Banquet!
Well over 550 scholars and their families
took part in the two-day event to celebrate
their achievements in the classroom. At Saturday
night's banquet, Pop Warner was pleased to
award $78,575 in scholarship money
to deserving senior scholars, as each one
walked away with at least $1,000 to be used
towards their higher education. Also, Pop
Warner handed out five awards to individuals
and organizations for their support and accomplishments.

Warner to Award Over $78,000 in Scholarships
at 2007 Banquet
 Pop
Warner is pleased to announce that over $78,000
in scholarship money will be awarded at this
year's All-American Scholar Banquet in Anaheim,
Ca. to deserving scholar-athletes. Thanks
to the donations of 26 seperate companies
and organizations, this year's scholarship
total will once again represent an all-time
high total to be handed out to our Senior
Scholars.

Backyard
Drills Donates $75,000 in Football
Edition DVDs to Scholars
 At
the Pop Warner National Scholars Banquet
to be held on May 26th in Anaheim,
California, Backyard Drills is giving
each of the Pop Warner Scholar All-Americans
attending a free set of Backyard Drills
Football Edition DVDs. This generous
donation totals approximately $75,000
in merchandise.

Natalie
Coughlin to be Honored at 2007 Scholar
Banquet
Pop
Warner is pleased to announce its
latest special guest/award recipient:
USA Olympic Gold-Medal Swimmer Natalie
Coughlin. The 2002 USA Swimming
Swimmer of the Year and three-time
NCAA Swimmer of the Year became just
the third American woman to win five
Olympic medals at one meet, doing
so at the 2004 Olympic Summer Games
in held in Athens, Greece.

Welcome to the
2007 All-American
Scholar Banquet
Pop Warner hosts the annual
Scholar All-American Awards Program each
year to celebrate the accomplishments of our gifted
scholar-athletes. Going into our 47th year hosting
this event, the event alternates annually between
the Disneyland™ area (2005) and the DisneyWorld™
area (2006). This year's event is taking place on
Friday, May 25 and Saturday, May 26, 2007 at the
Marriott Resort in Anaheim, CA.
All Scholastic All-Americans (1st Team,
2nd Team & Honorable Mention) are eligible to
attend the PWLS National All-American Banquet.
Two-day festivities include (2) Tributes to the
Scholars and an evening Dinner Banquet. First Team
All-Americans who attend the Dinner Banquet are
given one complimentary ticket towards the dinner
procession while 2nd Team All-Americans receive
one ticket at the discounted rate of $35.00. Below
is an outline of the activities of this year's program:
