Here we are in the early off-season, but some of us are already thinking about next season. What are we going to do to provide a better experience for our teams? What fund raising programs are we going to use? What, and how much, equipment and uniforms do we need to order? Perhaps most important of all, how am I going to make myself better as a coach or administrator?
One organization’s programs will help you instill really positive thoughts and values is the “Character Counts in Sports” program from the Josephson Institute of Ethics.

Lakeshore Alum Tim Tebow Wins the Heisman
Not only did the Lakeshore Raiders capture their first ever National Championship at the Pop Warner Super Bowl, but the night before former Lakeshore Renegades quarterback Tim Tebow became the first sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy.

Lakeshore Raiders Take Home the Division I Midget National Championship
The final day of the Pop Warner Super Bowl is complete, and four teams have been crowned Division I National Champions. The White Oak Warriors (Jr. Pee Wee), Beacon House Falcons (Pee Wee), Lake Arbor Seahawks (MD) and Lakeshore Raiders (FL) all earned championship titles on Saturday on an exciting day at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex.

Fox Sports Net Airs "Operation: Field Rescue" on Thanksgiving Day
It’s a story about hope. About change. About how corporations can join with communities; dreams can trump desolation, and how something as modest as a kids’ sports field can impact generations. On Thanksgiving Day, Fox Sports Net presented OPERATION: FIELD RESCUE, a program showing how the seemingly simple act of rebuilding a football field can change lives and refresh civic pride. The Pilot Episode featured the makeover of Pop Warner's Frankford Chargers home field, the Billy Gambrel Rec Center. The field dates back to the early 1900's, and was recently "made-over" thanks to the contributions of several generous companies.

A Pop Warner Team With Heart
An amazing thing happened on November 10 at the Fallbrook High School football stadium. The Pop Warner Warrior Nation football team decided to forgo the funds they had raised to enable them to play in the Hawaii Bowl this month and instead gave the $18,000 to three Pop Warner families significantly affected by the Fallbrook (Rice Canyon) Fire.

Seven-Year-Old Trevon Bright is a True Inspiration
After an accident severed Trevon Bright's leg, the seven-year-old refused to give up on his dream of playing football. He is now back playing once again for his Deltona Chargers team in the Mid-Florida Pop Warner Conference.
