Online Coaches Training
Pop Warner has established a leadership role in youth football and cheer by requiring all head coaches to pass a coaching education course.
The training is delivered through the online courses:
Deadline for coaches to complete this year's course is August 1. Please note, the course will remain active throughout the year for other coaches to complete the course.
All new head coaches are required to take the course. As PWLS requires re-certification every three years, so coaches who earned certification in 2009 are required to take the course to re-certify for this season.
New second editions of the courses are now available! Courses are purchased and delivered through the Pop Warner Coaches Education Center website.
The updated second edition of the football course includes:
- 35 video clips depicting proper technique
- Audio clips
- Interactive activities
- Downloadable drills, forms & checklists
- Interactive & engaging quizzes for coaches.
Each course concludes with an online 30-question test. Coaches who pass can print a certificate of course completion directly from the website.
PWLS coaches can purchase courses individually through the website. Bulk purchases are also available; purchases of 25 or more courses qualify for discounts.
