Pop Warner Celebrates Nationwide Simultaneous Kickoff

Pop Warner celebrated the start of the NFL, NFLPA and USA Football’s Play Football initiative by conducting the third annual Pop Warner Simultaneous Kickoff. The event included a ceremonial kick by Charlotte-area Pop Warner participants at Bank of America Stadium before CBS’ nationally televised preseason game between the New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers, the 2007 Pop Warner NFL Host Team.

2007 Marks 20th Anniversary National Cheer & Dance Championships

The 2007 Pop Warner National Cheer & Dance Championships will mark the 20th anniversary of the spectacular event. The first ever Pop Warner National Cheer & Dance Championships were held in 1988 with only a handful of squads in DeKalb County, GA. The event has since grown to approximately 350 cheer/dance squads competing at the Milk House at Disney's Wide World of Sports. The 2007 Cheer & Dance Championships will take place from Monday, December 3rd to Friday, December 7th.

Did you cheer in the first Pop Warner Cheer Championship back in 1988? If so, we want to talk to you!! Pop Warner is looking for people who were a part of the first Cheer Championship as a volunteer, coach or participant as we would love to hear about your experiences in celebration of our 20th Anniversary. Pendell Wildcats Win Grand Prize in National Registration Week Contest

Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. is proud to announce the Penndel Wildcats of Penndel, Pennsylvania as winners of the 2007 National Registration Week contest and $500 Grand Prize. Penndel’s registration event was held on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Fairless Hills, PA.

Pop Warner Closes NASDAQ

For the second time in as many years, Pop WArner Little Scholars Executive Director Jon Butler presided over the closing bell at NASDAQ MarketSite in New York City on Wednesday, September 5th.

Trevor Scholl Added to Pop Warner National Staff

Pop Warner recently announced the newest member of the National Staff. Trevor Scholl is the new National Recruiting and Marketing Coordinator for Pop Warner. Trevor graduated magna cum laude in 2007 from the College of New Jersey with a degree in Business Management. Trevor previously worked for Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. in 2006 as a marketing intern.
