Pop Warner Challenger League Spotlight

Instead of watching others play the game, the 15 kids who play in Fox Valley Pop Warner Football's Challenger League are the stars. After all these kids have been through, they know not take anything for granted, and their joy shines through in the league's fifth and final game of the season at the Banta Bowl on Saturday.

Eastern Region "Doing Their Best to Help the Rest"

Eastern Region Pop Warner participants had a dual plan for doing their best. One was to help feed the hungry and second was to enhance their skills. This task was achieved by the participants bringing soup size cans to practice to use as weights for strength and conditioning. They used the cans to improve their motion techniques, running drills and upper body strength, then collected all the cans and made food baskets and donated them to local food banks and soup kitchens.

Eagles help Good Sports land in Philadelphia

Good Sports kicked off its partnership with the Philadelphia Eagles by donating $10,000 worth of equipment to the South Philadelphia Hurricanes Pop Warner football program on Sept. 4. The Hurricanes did not have enough equipment to outfit all of their nearly 200 players. Good Sports and the Eagles eliminated that problem by providing 100 helmets, 100 shoulder pads and a blocking sled to the Hurricanes.
