Natalie Coughlin to be Honored at 2007 Scholar Banquet

Pop Warner is pleased to announce its latest special guest/award recipient: USA Olympic Gold-Medal Swimmer Natalie Coughlin. The 2002 USA Swimming Swimmer of the Year and three-time NCAA Swimmer of the Year became just the third American woman to win five Olympic medals at one meet, doing so at the 2004 Olympic Summer Games in held in Athens, Greece.

LARRY JOHNSON SET TO ATTEND 2007 BANQUET

Two-time NFL Pro-Bowler and Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson will be attending this year's event. Johnson has developed himself into one of the premiere backs in the game today. The Penn State grad responded to a starting role with back-to-back Pro-Bowl seasons after racking up over 3,500 yards in the past two seasons.
