Jon Butler

Executive Director 

Jon's background has prepared him well for his role in Pop Warner.  It combines an unusual combination of football experience and business knowledge.  For eight years he was President of Rae Crowther Co., the leading manufacturer of football blocking sleds and field equipment. He also spent six years as a high school assistant football coach and one year coaching CYO.  Furthermore, he is a long-time member of the American Football Coaches Association.

Jon has always enjoyed working with children, as shown by his eight years service as a Big Brother.  For his volunteer work with fundraising and recruiting for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Philadelphia, Jon was recognized by the Chapel of the Four Chaplains.  In 2006, He was selected as the Hershey’s S.T.R.I.V.E Awards’ National Youth Sports Administrator of the Year.

After several years as a Director, Jon was elected Vice President of the National Council of Youth Sports.  He also serves on the Advisory Board of the National Children’s Literacy and Book Alliance, the Editorial Advisory Board of Sports Events Magazine, the Diversity Committee of U.S. Lacrosse, the Board of Directors of USA Football and the Board of Hopewell Valley Recreation Foundation. 

Sam Mutz

National Football Commissioner
    
Sam Mutz is the National Football Commissioner for Pop Warner Little Scholars. He has been with Pop Warner since 1994. Sam received his undergraduate degree from Temple University in Philadelphia in Sports Administration.

Mutz currently serves on the USA Football Football Advisory Committee. In addition, he is on the board of his local youth baseball program and involved in Coaching baseball and basketball.  Sam lives in Philadelphia with his wife and children.

Lisa Moroski

National Cheer & Dance Commissioner

Lisa Moroski is the National Cheer & Dance Commissioner for Pop Warner Little Scholars since 1998 and is responsible for the development of the Spirit Rules Book, Coaches Education and Judges' Training. She has increased the National Championships to a five-day event featuring over 400 cheer & dance squads.

A graduate of Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, she served her alma mater as Advisor/Coach for the Hawk's Cheerleading Program from 1989-2016. Lisa carries several National Safety Certifications and National Judges Credentials. She holds the designation of Certified Sports Administrator as a member of the National Council of Youth Sports in conjunction with the George Washington University. Lisa currently resides in Bucks County, Pa. with her son, Thomas.

Beth Dietz

National Events Manager

Beth is the National Events Manager for Pop Warner and is responsible for the strategic planning and operations of Pop Warner National Events including the National Championship Week and the National Scholastics all-American Banquet.

Beth also serves as the Insurance Manager for Pop Warner.  She has been with Pop Warner since 1993.  She currently resides in Bucks County with her husband, Steve, sons Jeremy and Brian, and their cock-a-poo, Jessie!

Kevin Allen

National Recruitment & Grant Coordinator

Kevin Allen is the National Recruitment and Grant Coordinator. He is responsible for assistance and creation of new league as well as the annual Equipment and Championship Travel Grants. He is also responsible for the Pop Warner Little Scholars Roster Software system.

Kevin graduated in 2015 from The University of Mississippi with a B.A. in Political Science. He has spent his life in the realm of Sports being a player, coach, and administrator. He currently resides in Philadelphia and is avid Philly and Ole Miss Sports fan.

Nick Koshofer

National Director of Scholastics

Nick Koshofer is the National Director of Scholastics for Pop Warner Little Scholars. Nick is responsible for the design, oversight and implementation of the organization’s academic standards and scholastic initiatives, player eligibility, All-American Scholar criteria, and merit-based scholarship program.

Nick graduated from Northern Arizona University with a B.S. in Strategic Communications (emphasis in Public Relations) and dual Minors in Marketing and Criminology. He was a multi-sport athlete through school, but his true passion has always been football. Nick played football his entire life, starting with Pop Warner at a very early age. Nick grew up in Los Angeles, CA and currently resides in Philadelphia, PA.

Phyllis Farruggio

Business Partner Coordinator & Office Manager
    
Phyllis has been with Pop Warner since 1995 and administers the coordination of all forms and data for Pop Warner programs across the country. Phyllis also handles all day to day licensing and business partner communications, and is responsible for the general management of the national office.

Phyllis currently resides in Bucks County, PA with her family.
