Arena Football League Players to Visit Pop Warner Super Bowl:

Some Arena Football League players will be stopping by the 2007 Pop Warner Super Bowl on Wednesday, December 5. Sherdrick Bonner, Sonny Cumbie and Steve Videtich will be on hand for the event to participate in coin flips, visit with players and fans, as well as hold an autograph session at the Sports Complex. The autograph session will take place from 2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Check below for more information on the players attending:

Sonny Cumbie - Quarterback, L.A. Avengers

Sonny Cumbie, one of the Arena Football League’s top young quarterbacks, set an Avenger team record last season with 4,370 passing yards.  He also threw 83 touchdown passes in 2007, against only 13 interceptions.  Cumbie led the AFL in third-down passing efficiency (114.4 rating), completing 52-of-90 (57.8 percent) for 630 yards and 19 touchdowns, with just one interception, in those crucial situations.  In addition, he set team records for passing attempts in a single season (610) and a single game (51 at Kansas City on May 26, 2007).

In 2006, he set an Avenger team record by throwing 212 consecutive passes without an interception (breaking the mark of 210 established by Tony Graziani in 2004).  Cumbie also has scored six rushing touchdowns in his AFL career.  He signed his original two-year contract with the Avengers on Oct. 19, 2005, and then inked a three-year extension on Aug. 14, 2007.

Steve Videtich - Kicker, Utah Blaze

In 2006, Videtich joined the Utah Blaze for their inaugural season. During the season, Videtich became the all-time leader in kicking points with 1,381 career points, while setting two new expansion marks for PATs attempted (113) and made (106). Prior to that, Videtich joined the Destroyers after spending the past three seasons with the New Jersey/Las Vegas Gladiators. He connected on 14-of-28 field goal attempts and 92-of-99 extra point attempts. Videtich ranked third in the league among kickers with 134 points scored.

Videtich played for North Carolina State and was one of the nation's most accurate kickers over his last two collegiate seasons (1993-94), connecting on 28 of 31 field goals. He finished his collegiate career second in the Wolf Pack record books in field goal percentage. Videtich was named Second-Team All-American at NC State in 1994 and his team was All-ACC in '93 and '94.

Sherdrick Bonner - Quarterback, Chicago Rush

Sherdrick Bonner, one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the Arena Football League and two-time ArenaBowl champion, returns for his 15th year with the Rattlers. Entering the 2007 season, the franchise’s all-time leading quarterback also ranks among league greats in passing, throwing for 36,943 yards (No. 3 on the AFL career chart), 746 touchdowns (No. 4), 4,770 pass attempts (No. 3), 2,945 completions (No. 3), and 115.6 quarterback rating (No. 12). Bonner has also rushed for 35 scores (No. 21).  Those numbers have helped Bonner notch 101 regular season victories and win more postseason games than any other quarterback in AFL history with 18 wins.

In his postseason career, the two-time champion has thrown for more yards (6,759), completed more passes (540), and thrown more touchdowns (127) than any other player.  Bonner has also spent time with four different NFL teams (Miami, Arizona, Atlanta, and San Diego).  In 1998, the quarterback won an NFC Championship with the Atlanta Falcons.
